Susan Eileen Keirns

Susan Eileen Keirns, age 74, of Alexandria, passed away at her home on February 12, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born on June 25, 1947 in Anderson, IN to the late Norman and Eva (Covert) Woolard.

Susi graduated from Anderson High School in 1965. She worked in many different professions during her lifetime and retired from Sallie Mae. She and her mother owned a consignment shop in Anderson for 12 years called “The Clothesbrokers.”

Susi was extremely social and enjoyed dancing, camping, and spending time with family and friends. Her grandchildren were everything to her. Susi was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Susi is survived by her daughters Jill Bott (Kevin) and Jenni Chambers; grandchildren Pierce Odom, Avery Odom, Eva Bott, Reid Bott; siblings Brent Woolard (Pari), Bruce Woolard, Carole Griffin of Jupiter, FL; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friend Karen Young.

Susi is preceded in death by her husband Loyd Keirns, parents Norman and Eva (Covert) Woolard, and brother N. Michael Woolard.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Februay 27th at North Anderson Wesleyan Church, 1947 E 240 N, Anderson, IN 46012 with visitation from 2-4pm with a funeral service beginning at 4pm.

Cremation was chosen through Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
