Susanna Joy Mckee

Susanna Joy McKee , 28, of Camby, lost her courageous battle on Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at St. Francis Hospital. She was born May 28, 1987, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of Rebecca Sue (Turner) and Robert LaVerne Brown Jr.

On January 13, 2016 she was united in marriage to J.J. McKee in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was a stay-at-home mom. In her spare time she was an aspiring artist, enjoyed crafts, reading and spending time with her children, family, and friends.

She is survived by her husband J.J. McKee; two children, Connor Logan Ballman-Brown, Emmalin Rebecca Bertram-Brown; her mother Rebecca Sue Brown; two sisters, Rachel (Braxton) Walters and Elizabeth (Anthony) Duncan; two nieces and one nephew, Liberty, Kendra, and Alexander Duncan. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert LaVerne Brown; grandparents Beryl Turner and Althene Turner of Edinburgh, Indiana; Georgine Marie Brown of Macon, Georgia.

Visitation will be from 9:00am until time of the service at 11:00am on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Life Church Indy, 612 N High School Road Indianapolis, Indiana. Pastors Tony Portell and Tim Parks, Jr. will be officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Indianapolis .
