Tami Brill

Tamera 'Tami' Lynn Brill, 63, passed away on July 18, 2024, in Indianapolis, IN. She was born in Rock Island, IL and raised by her mother, Sharon, her biological father, Lee, and stepfathers, Steve and Larry in Louisville, KY, surrounded by a large and loving family. Tami would eventually find herself at home in Indianapolis, settling into the Geist community where she could be found volunteering for the Amy Beverland Elementary School PTA and boating on the reservoir. 

Always the life of the party, Tami loved a good concert. Opening a box of Chardonnay and singing along to “Glamourous” and “We Are Family” with her ‘sister-cousin’ Rhonda and Aunt Karen were especially fond memories in her home. Spending time with her cherished children was her greatest joy. Away from home, she found peace in the beach and traveled to the Virgin Islands as often as possible. No matter the destination, she will be remembered for making her family vacations and holidays memorable. Most of all, she will be remembered as a loving and resilient person who made things work for her family in the face of any challenge. 

Tami loved her family above all else. She is survived by her parents, Sharon Barry (Steve) and, Lee Ehlers (Donna); children, Candace Watson (Larry), Blake Brill (Crissia), and Alexa Brill; siblings, Lee “Butch” Ehlers (Tara), Jennifer Miller (Bart), Angela Hennette (Sean), and Matthew Ehlers (Sherie); grandchildren, Tyler, Christiana, Thomas, Lucas, Bailee, Blake, Ellie, Amora, and Nolin; and great-granddaughter, Ryleigh Marshall; as well as several treasured nieces and nephews. Tami also leaves many beloved friends to share in her memory. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Brill, sister, Lia Woeber, and grandmother, Ruth Ehlers. 

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, August 17th at 5305 North Kenyon Drive Indianapolis, IN 46219
