Tammy Louise (Tempke) Craner

Tammy Louise (Tempke) Craner, 57, of Greenfield, Indiana, passed away the morning of April 3, 2018. She was born on July 16, 1960 in Indianapolis, to Robert Tempke and the late Brenda (Benton) Stearsman. Tammy graduated from Warren Central High School in Indianapolis and earned an associate degree from Hennepin Technical College. She began her career as a florist at Post Road Greenhouse, where she worked for over 20 years. In 1992 the family relocated to Minnesota where Tammy completed her education and worked at a nursing home from 1994 to 2001. Tammy also worked as florist at Longs Florist Supply from 2006 to 2017. Tammy enjoyed cheering for the Colts and spending time with her loving husband Thom. She was a master crotchet artist and gifted many of her works to her loved ones. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren, and she spent many afternoons with them helping with homework and crafting.

Tammy is preceded in death by her mother, mentioned above. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Thomas Craner; children, Thomas Craner and Tyler (Laura) Craner; grandchildren Coleman, Trenton, and Saphia; father, Robert Tempke; stepfather, Jim Stearsman; siblings, Teresa Tempke, Alisa Orfait, and Patrick Tempke; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.at Bradley Hall, 2 West Main St., Greenfield, IN 46140. Arrangements provided by Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence.
