Teresa Kay Dean

Teresa Kay Dean, 69, of Indianapolis, went home to be with the Lord on December 31, 2023. She was born October 31, 1954, to the late Truman and Genevieve Johnson. She was an active member of the Lawrence Church of God, a loving and caring mother, and a friend to all who knew her.

Teresa is survived by her son, Daniel Dean; a daughter, Charly (Allen) Kessinger; a son, Jerry (Amy) Irwin; and a man whom she thought of as a son, Brian McClure II. She also leaves behind several grandchildren: Lincoln, Leslea, and Luke McClure. Teresa's survivors also include six bonus grandchildren and two bonus great-grandchildren. In addition, Teresa's brothers and sisters survive her passing and include Tina, Margie, Kathy, Lori, Tim, Eddie, and Larry, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Kelly Johnson; and her husband, Ralph Edward Dean.

The services for Teresa Kay Dean will be held at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services located at 1604 W. Morris Street, Indianapolis, on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. There will be a visitation for family and friends from 10:00AM to 1:00PM with a service to follow. Burial will be at Floral Park Cemetery after the service.
