Terry Janet Bratton

Terry Janet Bratton passed on to her eternal reward on Wednesday, November 25, 2020. She was born Terry Ann Kelley in California and lived in several states, but knew she was home when she moved to Indiana in 1980. She loved and was loved unconditionally by her Indiana family. She was happiest when she was helping others. She worked in healthcare for over 30 years and she worked with everyone from newborns, to trauma, to those whose lives were ending. She had a quick, infectious laugh; and despite her pain and illnesses, a bright, happy, and positive outlook on life. She loved and was loved by many who knew her well. She will be deeply missed.

Her second dad, Poppy, Donald L. Cookman went on before her. She is survived by her partner of 40 years, Sarah Cookman; sister Linda Gilbertson; second mom Kathleen Cookman; best friend Joyce Leininger; son Charles; dad Bill Kelley; and family in Oregon and California; and several adored nieces and nephews, loved brothers, and numerous treasured friends.
