Terry Lee Scruggs

Terry Lee Scruggs, 49, of Kokomo, IN, also a life-long resident of Anderson, IN, passed away on August 6, 2020. He was born on April 8, 1971 in Muncie, IN to Betty Perdue.

Terry is preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents, stepfather William “Bill” Perdue, Ronnie McMahan, and great-nephew Tyrone L. Woods, Jr.

Terry leaves to cherish his memory his three children Cierra Clark, Seth Scruggs, and Dustin Scruggs; mother of his children Sheila Ellingwood; mother Betty Perdue; brothers and sisters Lisa McKee, David Scruggs, Paula Crouch (John), Allen Scruggs, and Christina Scruggs (Rob); grandchildren Eli Poore and Alayah Batt; nieces and nephews Jill, Crystal, Kevin Lee, Chelsea, Brooke, and RJ; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and great nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind companion Delta Ball.

Terry loved music, Nascar, football, and most of all he loved spending time in front of his grill cooking for and spending time with his family. He loved attending concerts with his family and friends. Terry was a fun and loving dad who enjoyed spending time and making memories with his children. Terry had a big heart with a personality to match. He would make his friends and family laugh with his silly jokes and funny pranks. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 from 2-3pm with a funeral service beginning at 3pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson. Pastor Richard Gregg will be officiating.
