Terry A. Loux, born on September 1, 1951, ascended to eternal rest on September 19, 2024. A devoted history teacher and passionate coach for both football and basketball at Ben Davis Jr. High and Forest Manor Jr. High, Terry poured his heart and soul into shaping the lives of countless students. His presence illuminated classrooms and fields alike, and he leaves behind a legacy etched deeply in the hearts of all who had the privilege to learn from him.
As a lifelong Christian, Terry’s faith was the bedrock of his existence. His kindness and compassion were boundless, and his unwavering belief in the potential of others inspired those around him to strive for greatness. He was not only a mentor and coach but also a true friend, embodying the qualities of a genuine leader whose impact resonated far beyond the walls of the school.
Terry is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Laura Loux, and father, William Loux, along with his brothers Randy, Steve, and Edward, and sisters Patty and Shirley. He is survived by a devoted community of friends, former students, loving sister Sherry Sparks, nephews and nieces, all of whom will carry his spirit forward in their lives.
A celebration of Terry's life will be held at Legacy Funeral Home on October 5, 2024.
