Thomas Ferguson

Thomas (Tommy or “Toe”) Christopher Ferguson, 34, of Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024. He was a beloved son, brother, brother-in-law, nephew, great nephew, cousin, uncle and great uncle to his many nieces and nephews. He was loved by his family and friends alike.

He was born on April 23, 1990, in Indianapolis. He had many passions. As a child he enjoyed playing with his siblings, watching Godzilla movies, Star Trek, Sci-fi and scary movies. He liked to spend time reading books from various genres and subjects. This started in childhood with comic books and progressed to his favorite author, Stephen King. He attended Broad Ripple High School and later the Chef’s Academy Culinary School. He was a self-taught musician. He loved music, often listening to and playing it on his own acoustic and electric guitars. He enjoyed spending time with his mom, listening to their favorite rock and roll music together and learning all that he could about music and musicians. He enjoyed all kinds of cooking. He often cooked or grilled for the family. He would spend time fishing with his dad, using their catch of the day for a meal. He also enjoyed hanging out with his dad watching the Colts, Indiana basketball and football. He was a skilled craftsman who spent several years working alongside and learning from his dad and his brother.

He is survived by his parents William Douglas “Doug “and Kathy Ferguson, siblings Dawn (Gene) Lawrence of Westfield, Kevin Perry formerly of Indianapolis, April Ferguson of Indianapolis, and Kara Ferguson of Indianapolis. 

He is preceded in death by his grandparents John and Elsie Ferguson, and his brother William “Willie” Douglas Ferguson,II.

Visitation will be held at Legacy Funeral Home, Lawrence location, 5215 Shadeland Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46226 on Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 12:30PM-3:00PM.
