Thomas Henry Kollros, age 69, passed away on September 28, 2019 after battling an illness. He was born on March 22, 1950 in Anderson, IN.
Tom lived a full life the way he wanted to. He went to Madison Heights High School in Anderson. After high school, he went into the Army and served in Korea. He became a Federal Security Agent until he retired. He loved playing cribbage, ace deuce, and throwing horseshoes with friends and family. Tom loved his kids, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He spent a lot of his time watching the Colts play, spending time with his late wife Margaret, drinking beer, and teaching his grandkids about “Cowboy Donuts” and “Pinchy Bug.”
Tom is survived by his mother Alma Fowler of Anderson; Roy (Kelly Rae) Loveall of Anderson, Mike (Jackie) Kollros of North Carolina; Penny Fowler, Greg and Carla, of OK.
He had 6 children Bo (Dawn) Kollros, Meredeth (Charles) Cross, Thomas Henry Kollros Jr, all of TN. William (Alisha) Howard of Fishers, Brandy (Andrew) Funkhouser and Jonathon Howard, all of Anderson. Grandchildren Isaac Lawhorn, Emily Lawhorn, Robert Kollros, of TN, Zachary Thompson, Nikki (Jonathon) Smith, Chloe Howard, Chelsie Coffey, all of Anderson. Alistair Adaline and Adam Newnum of Ft. Wayne.
He is preceded in death by his wife Margaret, Roxanne Chaney Kollros, Gwyn Berry, son-in-law Steve Lawhorn and daughter-in-law Darlene Kollros, special friends Mickey Ross, John Winnett, and Mike Green.
We will always love and miss him.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 4, 2019 from 2-5pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson. Following the visitation, a chicken noodle dinner will be held at Brandy and Andrew Funhouser’s home where dad lived.
