Thomas L. Jackson, Sr. of Kennard, Indiana was called home to be with our God and Lord and Savior at 1:50 AM, June 26, 2017.

Thomas was born February 4, 1943 in the Henry County Hospital. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather who drove a semi-tractor trailer for fifty-two years before retiring in 2013. He attended Knightstown Church of God.
Surviving Thomas is his wife, Mary Jackson; children, Pam (Mike) Shelmadine of Ft. Wayne, Angela Jackson of Crossville, Tennessee, Thomas L. (Erin) Jackson, Jr. of Crossville, Tennessee, Danny Gilliam of Charlottesville, Indiana, Amanda Roseberry of Greenfield, Indiana, and Mary Kay Manary of Highland, California.
Thomas’ grandchildren are Mike Jackson of Crossville, Tennessee, Ashley Selby of Crossville, Tennessee, Travis Whitlenburg of Crossville, Tennessee, Jeremy Whitlenburg of Crossville, Tennessee, Beth (Derrick) Westphal of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Chloe Gilliam of Greenfield, Indiana, Makayla Walker of Greenfield, Indiana, Izabella Haley of Greenfield, Indiana, Gabriel Haley of Greenfield, Indiana, Cami Chapelow of Highland, California, Alley Chapelow of Highland, California, and Hope Swihart of Churubusco, Indiana. His great grand-children are Shawn Swihart and Kristen Swihart of Churubusco, Indiana, Colby Glenn of Greenfield, Indiana, and Makayla Swihart of Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
Also surviving are siblings, Joann Hale, Dixie Murrey, Kathy Glover, Sherry Clark, Ronnie Howard, Buddy Howard, David Jackson, and Barry Jackson.
Preceding Thomas in death is his father, Leonard Jackson; mother, Opal Thompkins; and grandson, Jeffery Shelmadine.
Visitation is from 3:00 to 5:00 PM on June 29, 2017 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 504 West Ninth Street, Anderson, Indiana.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
