Thomas Martin Wisehart

Thomas Martin Wisehart, age 72, of Anderson, passed away at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on August 10, 1948 to the late Jesse and Georgia Wisehart.

Tom was a huge history buff, always reading and watching anything to do with history. He loved to hunt, fish, search for arrowheads, and anything to do with the Native American culture. He loved his dogs and animals deeply. He could spend all the time in the world in nature. Tom was extremely intelligent and loved to study. His wife Becky called him her “gentle giant.”

Tom was in the Army for several years, prior to retiring as an electrician. He was so proud of his family and loved his friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Thomas is survived by his soulmate Becky Wisehart; sister Christine Thompson; brother Pete Wisehart; sister-in-law Dema Goodpastor (Bob); sister-in-law Diane Demus (Jeff); nieces and nephews Walline Goodpastor, Bobby Goodpaster, and Pete Buckley; and special friends Larry and Charlene Mudd.

He is preceded in death by his parents listed above; stepson Bert Berg; in-laws Bert and Walline Mullen; and brother-in-law Mike Mullen.

A graveside service will be on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 12pm at Mechanicsburg Cemetery. Cremation was chosen through Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
