Troy (Scott) Marling, 54, of Anderson, IN, passed away at his Home on Weds. July 21, 2021 from a yearlong battle with Pancreatic Cancer.
Born to Larry and Linda (Pruitt) Marling on July 19, 1967, he graduated from Highland High School in 1985.
Scott worked for Pyle Pools of Indianapolis, IN as a Pool Tech for the last several years and very much enjoyed all of his co-workers and especially the friendships that grew from his work Family!
Scott was a Friend to many as he would provide a helping hand or a listening ear at any moment! He enjoyed camping & canoeing with his Family & Friends along with anything outdoors. But his True Passions were the Love of His Family and President Donald J. Trump! Scott was a True Patriot as he served this Great Country in the Army during Operation Desert Storm where he earned multiple awards and medals and then went to Kuwait as a Contractor years after.
Scott not only had friends close as his neighbors but as far as Europe since he spent over 20 years in Germany building long lasting friendships and was traveling where he made wonderful memories!
Scott is survived by his loving wife, Tracie (Hall) Marling, Daughter, Madlin (Rick) Winkowski of Twin Lakes, WI, Step Son’s, Justin (Maeghan) Fruits of Frankton, IN, Jarrett Simon of Noblesville, IN and Jordon Fruits of Lafayette, IN. His Parents Larry & Linda Marling of Frankton, IN, Sister’s Darla (John) Lowe of Fishers, IN, Gina (Bryant) Keesling of Anderson, IN, David (Jenny) Marling of Cowen, IN, Grandchildren, Jaydon, Lilly & Levi Winkowski, Payton Fruits, Johnny & Logan Fruits along with Several Nieces, Nephews & Cousins!
Scott was preceded in death by his Brother Jeff Marling.
The Love Scott had for animals showed wherever he went as he could charm any type with his loving touch and voice. His fur companions will miss him truly
~A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held on July 31, 2021 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Home located at 504 W. 9th St., Anderson, IN 46016 from 2pm – 5pm.
