Tyler James Davis, born on January 13, 1995, in Muncie, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on December 29, 2024, in Fortville, Indiana. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and cherished memories that will forever impact those who knew him.
A graduate of Anderson High School, Class of 2013, Tyler was known for his fondness for playing baseball and basketball during his youth. He enjoyed engaging in sports, always bringing enthusiasm and spirit to the games. In addition to his athletic pursuits, he was an avid video game player.
Those who knew Tyler can attest to his vibrant personality; he was a very good kid growing up, known for having a huge heart for those he loved. His capacity for love extended to his beloved animals, particularly his cats, which held a special place in his heart.
Tyler is survived by his mother Candace Davis; father Dave Shaffer; papaw James (Ed) Davis; grandpa John Shaffer; grandma Ann Shaffer; girlfriend Katelyn Powell; daughter Savannah Davis; Savannah's mom Alexis; and many close friends.
He is preceded in death by his Tutu Phyllis Davis; grandma Cathy Davis; and grandma Diana Shaffer.
As we remember Tyler James Davis, we celebrate a life that, although far too short, was filled with moments of laughter, passion, and unwavering love for those around him. His absence will be felt deeply, but his spirit will continue to shine brightly in the memories of family and friends.
There will be no services at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
