Vernon Lee Tridle

Vernon Lee Tridle, 76, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2019. He was born in Beech Grove, Indiana on November 8, 1942 to Robert and Lorna Tridle. He grew up in Ravenswood and Irvington. Vern resided on Indy’s Southwest side for the last 42 years.
Vern served in the US Navy from 1960-64. Vern was a longtime member Indy Hi-Winders car club. He retired from the Turbo and Diesel Injection in 2009 after 19 years. Vern’s greatest joys were his family and friends.
Vern is survived by his wife of 53 years Helen Tridle; daughters Valerie (Kevin) Atwell and Stephanie Tridle; niece Denise Tridle Stenson; nephew Bruce (Kelly) Tridle; grandchildren Jordan Tridle (Melina), Clara Atwell, Evan Bush, and Aiden Bush; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Vern was a son, husband, father, and Papa. Vern is deeply loved and will be greatly missed but will be forever in our hearts.
Services will be on Friday, April 12, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 1604 W. Morris St., Indianapolis, Indiana with visitation from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
