Vickie Lynn Fitzsimmons

Vickie Lynn Fitzsimmons, 55, passed away on February7, 2017. She was born to Roy and Mary Wilber on October 21, 1961 in Muncie.

Vickie met Mark Fitzsimmons in high school. They weremarried and depended on one another until her passing. She had many interests and skills. She was a Candy Striper at Community Hospital,worked at MCL, Ponderosa, and as a detailer at S & S Fire Apparatus. Most recently, Vickie was a bartender atGrasshoppers and the Veterans of Madison County.

Vickie and Mark enjoyed playing darts and 8 Ball. They were members of the American PoolAssociation. They built their livesaround each other and enjoyed family and friends.

Left to cherish Vickie’s memory is her husband, MarkFitzsimmons; daughter, Stephanie Fitzsimmons; grandson, Strider Fitzsimmons;mother, Mary Derringer; brothers, Alan (Karen) Wilber and Jerry (Jenee) Wilber;stepsisters, Lavonne (Bob) Widmer and Carolyn (Dan) Chastain; nephews, JeremyWilber and David Reed; niece, Cheyenne Reed; step-grandson, Brandon Campbell;great nieces, Jerica Wilber, Jalissa Wilber, and Rayna Wilber; many aunts,uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; dear friends, Lisa Auler and Eva Lacey;and her special furry friends, Duke, Sheba, and Cybill.

Preceding Vickie in death are her daughters, Loreleiand Tasha Wilber; father, Roy Wilber; sisters, Sue Voorhis and Lisa Wilber;stepfather, William “Bill” Derringer; and grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Services will be Saturday at 2:00 PM with visitationone hour prior at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services. Reverend Benny Santiago will preside.
