Vicky Lynn Robinson

Vicky Lynn Robinson, age 73, died peacefully on March 2, 2025, after a brief illness. She is the daughter of Garland and Alberta Maxwell, who predeceased her, as did her brother, Larry Maxwell, and grandson, Colton Robinson.

Vicky worked at the Anderson post office, proudly serving as the president of the local union, where her negotiation and advocacy skills have gone unrivaled since she retired in 2008.

In her free time, Vicky enjoyed reading, collecting owls, and spending time with friends and family, especially her husband who she rarely let out of her sight, or at least a phone where she could page him from the next room. Together they shared a love of animals and nature, taking long walks, bird watching, and fostering many cats and dogs while they waited for their forever homes.

Born into a very musically talented family, Vicky had a lifelong passion for music, and though she has departed this earth, we take comfort in knowing that her spirit now dances among the stars.

She leaves her husband of 25 years, Jeffrey Pettigrew, son, Casey Robinson, daughters, Shonda Kellams and Shelley Riseden, grandsons, Thomas Kellams, David Kellams, and Caleb Robinson, and granddaughters, Indica Kellams, Kiona Kellams, and Rachael Riseden with a hole in their hearts and a deep gratitude for her presence in their lives.

A celebration of life will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on March 21, at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Services, 504 Ninth St., in Anderson. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you hold your loved ones close and appreciate every moment you have with them.
