Mr. Virgil R. Williams II, son of Virgil R. Williams and Viola J. Williams was born November 6, 1978, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Rodney was a graduate of Lincoln College of Technology and Lawrence Central High School class of ’97. Rodney accepted Christ early in life and was baptized at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. He was a member of C.R. Richardson Masonic Lodge #69. Rodney transitioned from this life to the next March 13, 2022, at the age of 43.
Rodney was dearly loved by everyone he met. His joyful aura, infectious smile, and loveable, larger-than-life personality earned him the nickname “Big Fun.” He was giving, charitable, and compassionate. He loved roller coasters, was surprisingly light on his feet, and loved to roller skate. The world will never be the same without his bellowing laugh and enormous “bear-hugs.” He loved to travel and enjoyed his job as an over-the-road trucker. Of all his many achievements during his life, nothing gave him more pleasure than his children. The fierce loyalty, respect, and love he maintained for Kayden, Victoria, and Kaydence was exemplary. They were the force that drove him. They were the jewels of his crown.
“Big Fun” leaves to cherish his memory: his parents, Virgil and Viola; son, Kayden; daughter, Victoria; daughter, Kaydence; brother, David; sister, India; all his uncles, aunts, cousins, and dear friends of the family.
Rest in Heaven “Big Fun,” we love you.
