Wanda L. (York) Ludlow, 93, of Indianapolis, passed away on August 5, 2018 at Community North Hospital. She was born on July 19, 1925 in Danville, IL to the late Claude and Jessie (Ramsey) York. She retired from Lawrence North High School Cafeteria. Wanda married Wayne Ludlow on December 2, 1945 in Veedersburg, IN. Wanda was a member of the Eastern Star and Horizon Christian Fellowship Church.
Wanda is survived by her son, William (Jackie) Ludlow; daughter, Denise (Dave) Waterman and Daughter-in-law Anita Ludlow; 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband and parents, mentioned above; children, Gary Ludlow, Ann Ludlow, and Charles Ludlow; 2 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Ralph York, Doyne York, and Jack York; along with 1 sister, Fern Eitner.
Services are at 5pm on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with visitation from 2pm until the time of service. Burial will be at 1pm on Friday, August 10th at Osborn Prairie Cemetery, Veedersburg, IN. Memorial Contributions may be made in Wanda’s Memory to the American Heart Association.
The family would like to thank everyone, including the staff, at the Clearwater Commons Assisted Living for all of their care for Wanda.
