Weslee Sayre

Weslee Nicholas Sayre, son of Handley F. Sayre, Jr. and Melissa J. (Lirot) Kline, was born June 11, 1982, in Bryan, Ohio. Known for his charm, humor, and dedication, Weslee had an unforgettable presence marked by a huge heart and a tireless work ethic. A true car enthusiast, Weslee loved working on cars and the thrill of fast cars, as well as taking four-wheeling adventures and attending concerts.

Weslee loved his role as a father, always striving to be the best he could be for his children. Those who knew him remember his infectious humor and his ability to light up a room. Weslee was a loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle, nephew, and grandson who valued his family deeply. He worked for several years at Floors Galore, where he poured his heart into his work. Over the years, Weslee resided in Anderson and Indianapolis, Indiana, as well as Columbus, Ohio, leaving behind cherished memories in each place.

Weslee is survived by his mother, Melissa (Lirot) Kline; his wife Ashley Sayre; his beloved children: Bradlee, Branden, Bryce (mother Nicole); Braiden, Brenden (Alex), Weslee Jr. (JuJu), and Bentlee Sayre (mother Ashley); siblings: Tylar Sayre, Timothy Kline, Lavon Sayre, Stephanie Burley, Chelsie Kline, sister in-laws Jamie Wright and Mandy Spivey; grandmother, Nancy Jo Lirot; mother in-law, Angela Roberts; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Weslee is preceded in passing by his father, Handley Ford Sayre Jr., brother, Handley (Hankie) Ford Sayre III, and sister-in-law Amy (Thomas) Sayre.

A Celebration of Life and visitation will be held on Saturday, November 9th, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm with a service starting at 2pm with Pastor Trevor Dailey officiating.

Weslee's legacy of love, laughter, and hard work will live on through his family and friends who will hold his memory close to their heart.
