Wilbur Lee Osborn

Wilbur Lee Osborn, age 84, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2019. He was born in Anderson, IN to the late Chester and LaVonne Osborn.

Wilbur retired from Chrysler in New Castle, IN. He was an extremely avid reader, loved animals, and enjoyed attending sprint car races. He was a major history buff and a member of the Anderson Historical Society. Wilbur never met a stranger and was such a giving person. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Wilbur is survived by his loving wife Judy of 46 years; children John Osborn (Amy), Bill Osborn (Karen), Bob Osborn (Jane), David Etherington (Teresa), and Keith Etherington (Patty); grandchildren Ben, Mason, Sara, Jacob, Nikki, William,  Brian, Kaitlynn, Jordan, Anna, Matthew, Andrew, Alex, Daniel, Derek, and Karley.

He is preceded in death by his parents, son Kevin Etherington (Laurie), and siblings Ralph, Hattie, Louise, Vernal, and Deannie.

A visitation will be held on May 10, 2019 from 11-2pm with a funeral service beginning at 2pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson. Burial will take place at Pleasant Walk Cemetery in Anderson.
