William 'Bill' Leisure

William “Bill” Eugene Leisure, 59, passed away on April 25, 2016 at St. Vincent's Regional Hospital in Anderson. He was born on May 30, 1956 to Samuel William and Dorothy Ann Leisure in Logansport, Indiana. He lived most of his life in Anderson.

Bill served in the Navy. He was a mechanic by trade and used to work in his dad’s auto shop. He enjoyed riding his Harley, fishing, camping, and deer hunting. He also loved working on and driving race cars. His greatest joy was in his love for his grandchildren, Lily (Sunshine, Motorcycle Momma), Reece (Moon), and Jazzman (Star).

Preceding Bill in death is his father, Samuel William Leisure; uncle, Earl Gothard; and special friend, Jack Haines.

Left to cherish Bill’s memory are his wife, Lisa Ann (Horton) Leisure; daughter, Jessica (Jerry) Gasparet; mother, Dorothy Ann (Allen) Leisure; brother, Jack (Sue) Leisure; sister, Cathy (Jeff) Conley; brother, Sam (April) Leisure; brother, Danny (Crystal) Leisure; and grandchildren, Lily, Reese, and Jazzman.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff at Countryside Health and Living for the care and love Bill received while her was there.

Visitation with the family is at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 504 West 9th Street in Anderson on Monday, May 2, 2016 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM. The service will immediately follow at 2:00 PM.
