William James

67, of Indianapolis, died December 20, 2015. William was born on July 6, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Matody and Erma James. William was a hardworking man who’s big heart was much larger than his tough exterior. He was always looking to help out his fellow man whether it was someone he knew or a stranger on the street. He worked for many companies throughout the years including, General Motors, Bryant Heating and Air, RCA, Jay Orner Billards and most recently retiring from Allisons Rolls Royce. In his free time, he enjoyed bowling, playing pool and street racing, in his earlier years. He is survived by his wife Regina (Sims) James, his daughters Heidi James, Ashley James, a step brother Lawrence Duncan and grandchildren Zebadiah, Jacob and Cassandra Church. Visitation will be held Tuesday January 5, 2016 from 3-6pm at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Service-Morris Street.
