William M. Herrington

William M. Herrington, 94, of Indianapolis, passed away on November 15, 2020.  He was born on July 22, 1926 in Columbus, GA, to the late Pink Herrington and Willa Mae Brown.  William served his country in the United States Navy during WWII.  He then moved to Indianapolis where he worked at IUPUI until retiring.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Faye Herrington, his son Billy Herrington, brother Frank Herrington, as well as his parents, mentioned above.

William is survived by his children, Paul Herrington, Judy Burris, and Karen Cheatham.

Grandchildren, Paul Herrington Jr., Randy Herrington, and Corie Herrington.

Great Grandchildren: Caden Herrington, Wendell Depp, Makayla Depp, Tyler, Adam and Matthew Herrington, and Courtney Herrington.

Visitation is from 11am to 12pm on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with the service to start at 12pm. Burial to follow at Old Oaklandon Cemetery, Oaklandon, IN.
