Yudell Leon Grant

Yudell passed away on March 17, 2021, at St. Francis Hospital amid several family members, clergy and hospital staff by his side.  Yudell was born in Chicago, Illinois but moved to Indianapolis, Indiana more than a decade ago.

Yudell was a loving and devoted son, brother, father, uncle and friend.  Yudell enjoyed living every day to the fullest; he enjoyed painting, any type of carpentry work and odd jobs.  One of the fondest memories was how he always saw himself as a protector of the ones he loved.  Anyone who really knew him, knows that he cared for others as he also has a host of friends and family that loved him dearly.

Yudell is preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Leon Grant, an uncle, and both maternal and paternal grandparents.  He leaves his mother Pauline Harvey, aunt Lillie Smith, sisters Paulette and Johnette, so Joshua, fiance Tiffany Davis and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.  Although Yudell physical presence is not so near, he is never forgotten and always in our hearts.
