Eddie P. Beagles, Jr. is a certified celebrant who can plan and conduct a personalized funeral for you. In addition to being a licensed funeral director and embalmer, he is licensed in Indiana as an insurance agent to assist individuals with their funeral preplanning needs.
Eddie is a native of Roswell, New Mexico. He lived in Chicago for 14 years before moving to Columbia City, Indiana in 2005. A graduate of Worsham College of Mortuary Science, he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He is a member by invitation of Pi Sigma Eta. He also holds memberships with the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice, British Institute of Embalmers and the American Society of Embalmers, Indiana Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors Association.
In 2008 he was named as one of Northeast Indiana’s Future 40 by Upstate Indiana Magazine. He has been very involved in his community having served as president of the Columbia City Community Tree Board, member of the Columbia City Redevelopment Commission, president of the parish council for St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church, and District #3 Director for the Indiana Funeral Directors Association. He is currently chairman of the IFDA Convention Planning Committee.
Carrie Gee, CFSP
Carrie was born and raised in southern Indiana and graduated from Vincennes University in 2002 with an associates degree in Mortuary Science. She is a certified funeral director and crematory operator. Along with her funeral event expertise, Carrie brings professional experience as a wedding coordinator. “I am excited to blend these two professions by creating a celebration of life for each family I serve,” said Carrie.
When she is not directing funerals, Carrie is a wife and mother of three children. After work she cares for her household, attempts to cook dinner, and puts away laundry each night. When things settle down, she enjoys reading and going to the movies.
P.T. “Ted” Weaver, has had a life long association with the funeral profession. Ted grew up in Kokomo, Indiana where his family and a business partner owned and operated a funeral home. Ted earned his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and began working at the funeral home assisting with funerals, he then went on to earn his license in life insurance and served in the capacity of a pre-need counselor.
In 2013, after having earned his second bachelor’s degree, this time in Mortuary Science, Ted joined the Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services team. Ted’s knowledge, experience and compassion in the funeral industry is what enables him to help families through the funeral process and after.
Adrianne McCoy was born and raised in Anderson, Indiana, a 2010 graduate of Frankton High School. After graduating high school, she moved to Vincennes, IN and attended Vincennes University class of 2013 with a degree in Mortuary Science. She has lived in Vincennes for 7 years where she met her husband Matthew. Adrianne has several years of Funeral Directing experience and enjoys giving the families the comfort of knowing that their loved ones are in good hands. When she is not working, Adrianne has a toddler Maveryck, chasing after him all the time. She also coaches cheer in Pendleton, and enjoys spending time with her husband.
Charles Eddie Purciful, a lifetime resident of Anderson, works as Guest Relations for the Legacy Anderson location for over one year now. Before dedicating his time to serving grieving families, Ed worked as a minister for over 32 years in the Anderson area, his most recent church being North Anderson Wesleyan. Ed also retired from Delco-Remy. Ed serves as an Anderson Police Department Chaplain and Grief Support. Ed’s background in serving families through ministry is what sets him apart from the rest in his ability to lead the families that come through our door. There is not a funeral that goes by where Ed does not know at least one family member.
