Adrianne McCoy was born and raised in Anderson, Indiana, a 2010 graduate of Frankton High School. After graduating high school, she moved to Vincennes, IN, and attended Vincennes University class of 2013 with a degree in Mortuary Science. She has lived in Vincennes for 7 years where she met her husband Matthew. Adrianne has several years of Funeral Directing experience and enjoys giving families the comfort of knowing that their loved ones are in good hands. When she is not working, Adrianne has a toddler Maveryck, chasing after him all the time. She also coaches cheer in Pendleton and enjoys spending time with her husband.
Carrie was born and raised in southern Indiana and graduated from Vincennes University in 2002. She is a licensed funeral director in Indiana and a certified crematory operator. Carrie has worked for Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services since 2015. The most rewarding part of her job is knowing that she is helping families with the loss of their loved ones.
When she is not helping families and directing funerals, Carrie is a mother of three children and a yellow Labrador, named Willow. After work, she cares for her household, attempts to cook dinner, and helps her children put away laundry each night. When things settle down, she enjoys reading, hiking, and going to the movies
Jamie Leigh Merrick was born and grew up in Southern Indiana. Upon obtaining her bachelor’s degree from Purdue University she began to pursue a career in the field of Forensic Science. After attending two Funeral Services for close family members, Jamie realized her calling was helping families through one of the most difficult times of their lives. She graduated from the Mortuary Science program at Ivy Tech University and began her new career as a Funeral Director.
Jamie enjoys spending time with her three dogs, Rusty, Morty and Ravioli.
P.T. “Ted” Weaver, has had a lifelong association with the funeral profession. Ted grew up in Kokomo, Indiana where his family and a business partner owned and operated a funeral home. Ted earned his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and began working at the funeral home assisting with funerals, he then went on to earn his license in life insurance and served in the capacity of a pre-need counselor.
In 2013, after having earned his second bachelor’s degree, this time in Mortuary Science, Ted joined the Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services team. Ted’s knowledge, experience, and compassion in the funeral industry are what enable him to help families through the funeral process and after.
Casey, originally from Marion, IN, has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer with more than 20 years of experience providing personalized care to the families he serves. He started his career at the age of 16 working for two small town funeral homes in Lafontaine and Van Buren, IN. Prior to joining the Legacy family, he was an independent funeral homeowner for 20 years.
In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, camping, and hiking in the Smokey Mountains.
A graduate of Mid-America College of Funeral Service, Casey is a member of the Pi Sigma Eta fraternity and is licensed in both Indiana and Kentucky.
Stephanie grew up in Decatur Township and was a graduate of Decatur Township High School. She has 30 years of customer service experience. She has been with Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services for the last 10 years in office administration for the Indianapolis location. She currently serves in the role of Funeral Assistant where she assists both the licensed funeral directors and families.
She is married to her husband Aaron and they have one daughter, Haley whom they raised in Decatur Township and a granddaughter, Ivy Rose.
Charles Eddie Purciful, a lifetime resident of Anderson, has worked as Guest Relations for the Legacy Anderson location for over one year now. Before dedicating his time to serving grieving families, Ed worked as a minister for over 32 years in the Anderson area, his most recent church being North Anderson Wesleyan. Ed also retired from Delco-Remy. Ed serves as an Anderson Police Department Chaplain and Grief Support. Ed’s background in serving families through ministry is what sets him apart from the rest in his ability to lead the families that come through our door. There is not a funeral that goes by where Ed does not know at least one family member.
Meet Ashley, an Anderson native, born and raised in the heart of IN. She holds the role as the Administrative Assistant at our Anderson location. But that's not all—Ashley is a talented hair stylist, a devoted Pastor's wife, and a loving mother to four wonderful children: Keagan, Laynie, Charlee, and Kayson. She shares a crazy, hectic, but beautiful life with her high school sweetheart, Trevor. When Ashley isn't working or tending to her family, you'll find her embracing the joys of life—whether that means exploring new destinations, camping under the stars, embarking on invigorating hikes, enjoying the soothing beach vibes, styling hair with creativity, basking in delightful weather, or simply cherishing the company of others.
Mark was born and raised in Kokomo, IN and received his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and a master’s degree from Long Island University. Before joining the Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services team, he was employed at Ivy Tech Community College (Kokomo region) for more than 25 years as an instructor of psychology, and he also worked in the Learning Resource Center at the college.
In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, traveling, and DIY projects around his home. Additionally, he has recently become involved with Stonewall Sports League and plays kickball and volleyball with his team, the New York Wankees (yes, the Wankees).
Ashlee was born in Richmond, IN and later raised in a tiny farm town just north called Lynn, IN. Upon graduating high school in 2015, Ashlee moved to Indianapolis to attend the University of Indianapolis. Before joining the team at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, Ashlee worked in automotive sales. She has always had a passion for helping others which is what led her here to assist in helping families to pre-plan. In her spare time, Ashlee enjoys tubing, traveling or spending time with her Boxer, Pig. Ashlee is also an avid Jeeper.
